The site is located in the central area of Larnaca close to the historic St. Lazarus Church, one of Larnaca’s most important monuments. The site consists of the existing outdated school premises which have been demolished and replaced by new as part of the brief.

The new school consists of strategically planned combination of enclosed, covered and open spaces which are linked through a grid of circulation routes. The enclosed spaces include teaching rooms, offices, W.C facilities, a canteen and a multi-purpose hall administration. The external spaces include sports/play grounds, open air assembly areas as well as landscaped areas.

The building incorporates a number of passive energy efficiency features such as insulation, thermally broken aluminium system, covered shaded areas as well as low energy LED lighting systems.

All facilities are fully accessible to the disabled.
