Our Background
D. Michael and Associates (DMA) is an Architectural and Engineering practice based in Larnaca, Cyprus. Being established since 1988, DMA has built a diverse portfolio of projects in Cyprus and the Balkans.
Our commitment is to deliver our clients distinctive designs by utilising an anthropocentric approach, according to their needs; while preserving the relationship to the surrounding environment and context of each project. Since its establishment, DMA has undertaken a variety of projects ranging from private residential to high profile public and commercial projects. Our team is always willing to undertake new challenges of any scale and complexity to deliver the best results.
Our Approach
Concept
From the conceptual stage of the project we involve the client in order to develop a clear brief which will satisfy client’s needs and ensure aesthetic result.
Analysis
By analysing all affected stakeholders of the project we develop our design to a standard which will enhance the experience all future users of the project.
Technology
We are up to date with updates in software technology as well as material and systems technology advancements which we use in our projects to bring value.
Collaboration
By collaborating with the client and other project consultants we manage to deliver projects on time, on budget and according to the client’s brief.

Our People
Our people are the heart of our operation. We continuously invest in them and support them to achieve their career goals.
Dimitris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic of Central London and H.N.D in Technician Engineering from ATI. He is a member of ETEK and he has 30 years experiences as a Civil Engineer. Dimitris is the director of D.Michael & Associates.

Michalis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Huddersfield. He is a member of ETEK since 2019 and has been working as an architect in D. Michael & Associates since 2018.

ARCHITECT
Kosmas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the Imperial College in London. Through his position as a Project Structural Engineer in London, he has gained notable design and project management experience on a variety of large scale projects in the UK and Ireland. Kosmas is a Chartered Engineer with the IStructE, Chartered Member of ETEK and member of CYACE and now acts as the managing director of DMA.

Antreas holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a member of ETEK since 2019 as and he has been working as an architect in D. Michael & Associates since 2015.

Kyriaki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Diploma of Architect - Engineer from the University of Cyprus. She has been working as an architect with DMA since 2020

Iraklis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Reading. He has been working for D. Michael & Associates since 2017.

Constantina holds a Bachelors degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Nicosia. Constantina has been working with DMA as the office Administrator since 2011

Yianna is a team member of DMA since the foundation of the practice in 1988. After completing her studies at TEI in Thessaloniki, she worked in London for a while before returning in Cyprus to undertake the office management along with the accounting department.
