This industrial project in Larnaca features a steel frame structural system utilizing portal frames to achieve efficient large-span performance and optimized material use. The structure was designed and analysed in accordance with Eurocode 8, considering both seismic and wind actions to ensure a robust and resilient design solution suitable for the local seismicity and climatic conditions. Structural analysis and design were carried out using Tekla Structural Designer to ensure accurate modelling and code-compliant performance verification.

Steel connections were designed and verified using IDEA StatiCa, allowing for detailed three-dimensional connection modelling and full compliance with Eurocode requirements. Composite floor decking systems were incorporated to increase structural spans, enhance stiffness, and reduce the need for intermediate supports, improving both structural efficiency and functional flexibility of the industrial space.

DMA undertook full structural design, site supervision, and construction management services, ensuring that the project was delivered in accordance with the approved design, technical specifications, and relevant standards.
